709 – Yaxun B’alam IV was born in Yaxchilan to Itzamnaaj B’alam II and Lady Eveningstar.
752 – After a period of struggle, Yaxun B’alam IV took the throne of Yaxchilan becoming the ahau (king) of the city.
752-768 – During His life Yaxun B’alam took 21 captives in war (probably some of these were before he became ahau). He also built two magnificent temples (now called Temple 21 and Temple 33). Even during his reign he had to vindicate his right to rule in the eyes of the people as he was not in the royal line through the mother.
768 – End of Reign due to death.
